About Angels

I use the concept of Angel Consciousness to describe my own journey as a spiritual being having a human experience, it serves as a background awareness I can tap into at all times.

My daily message to myself is simply to do my best and stay connected to the angels. This looks different from day to day, depending on circumstances. Our human beingness is a caldron of attraction, talent, feelings, responses, karma, past experiences and memories. My experience with the angels is that they keep us in spiritual mode, in the mode where we get back to what matters most in life regardless of the craziness around us. One of my goals is to feel what Paul Newman said: “It's been a privilege to be here.”

Here are some ideas about angels that personally strike a knowing feeling in my heart:

The angels vibrate at such a refined frequency that when they want us to receive a message, they know how to get it through quick. We don’t have time to explain it.

If an angel needed to visit us and change our direction in life, they can alter our perception so that when they leave, the change stays, but our experience of the “angel” is hidden in our unconscious like the contents of an out of reach dream.

The angels have a sense of humor.

You are not here to be judged successful in the eyes of the world, you are here to evolve and love. If your own special way of evolving spells success in the eyes of the world, so be it, don’t get caught up in it. If you have to live your life labeled as an eccentric in order to be true to yourself, then get in to it and have some fun. The world is not the source of love, God is the source of love. The world is not going to pick you up when you fall and send you angels to redirect you, but God will. The world does not care who you really are, but God and the angels care very much. Remember many “successful” people have met angels and ignored them because they weren’t dressed right.

The angels are present to remind us that our problems may be our salvation, as we learn to replace self-recrimination with self-love, shame with awareness, judgment with observation, fear with freedom of spirit.

Angels live in the eternal realm, our sense of time doesn’t limit them. Essential qualities such as hope, love, gratitude, reverence, and an open heart allow us a strong ongoing connection with the angels.

It is good to remember that the angels do not belong only to a particular religion. Believe it or not, in this “enlightened society” of ours, some people are still trying to claim angels are only affiliated with one religion, or one type of person. The angels are available to each human, because each human carries the light of heaven in their heart, and the angels work for heaven. Light attracts light. The angels are attracted to our light, and exist to help us shine brighter.

In the realm of the angels thoughts are the same as actions. The thoughts you hold in your mind at any given moment are like forms to the angels. This is good news because the angels have direct access to your thoughts if you want them to, and can help lift your spirits and direct your thoughts to a higher spiritual level.

The good things in life are always with us we just need to position our state of being to notice them. One of the gifts from the angels is, that regardless of how dark it seems at times, how hard life seems to be getting, a spark of hope begins to grow and when we are ready it lights up our life and things will be different.

I think angels are important to us for many reasons, which are difficult to intellectualize, it is a matter of heart, and humor––getting us to think on our own and lighten up.

Watch the sky and remember to notice what is above you. Look up often, and also notice what is below you. Too often we just notice what is at eye level and miss out on things above, below, and behind us.

There are guardian angels, muses––angels of the inner psyche, ancestor angels, nature guardians, angels of the moment, happiness trainers, angels of the divine feminine energy, and over-lighting angels of countries, groups, relationships, etc. We can learn to have a give-and-take relationship with the many faces of angels.

Words are powerful, but they are not absolute truth, they are symbols of thoughts. Symbols and images are what reach us on a deep level. An image can hold so much power, it can either haunt you forever, or bless you forever. Symbols allow us to recognize an energy field, such as the angels. Angels are symbolic of our divine connection to the ultimate Source of Love.

We must look honestly at what is going on in our own psyche and the psyche of the world; in our body and the body we dwell on top of; in our heart and the heart of the world; in our spirit and the spirit of the times we live in; in our soul and in the soul imprint of the world.
